Bollywood's Obsession with Food & Beverages - Part 1


 
Bollywood has great impacts on the lives of the people in India. It is one the largest film industries in the world. It is the most effective medium for telling society its own story. The Hindi cinema industry portrays changes taking place at socio-economic-political levels on the silver screen, so profoundly that it leaves the audience with an unforgettable impact.  The first ever movie was screened in India in 1913. The industry has completed 100 years.  Over the years, many iconic movies have been produced and many unforgettable songs and lyrics have been created. Also there are many hearth touching as well funny dialogues that we always like to listen to. These famous dialogues are on society, lifestyle, politics, economics, spirituality, leadership and almost on everything.  Here are some of the famous movies based on food & beverages.
 The Lunchbox: A mistaken delivery in Mumbai's famously efficient lunchbox delivery system connects a young housewife to an older man in the dusk of his life as they build a fantasy world together through notes in the lunchbox.
Daawat-E-Ishq: After one too many heartbreaks, shop girl Gulrez has no hope of finding a husband, until she meets a spicy chef who might just be to her taste.


Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana: After deceiving a gangster in London, Omi flees to India. When he finds out that his family's old restaurant is in a crisis, he decides to rediscover a secret recipe that will change their fortunes.
Stanley ka Dabba: School boy Stanley does not carry lunch, which is noticed by a teacher who forces kids to share their food with him. He soon warns Stanley that he must get a lunch box if he wants to attend school.
Chini Kum: An egotistical 64-year-old chef and confirmed bachelor falls for a woman 30 years his junior.
Barwachi: The Sharma household is in a state of disarray till the day Raghu arrives. More than a cook, he has solutions to all the problems. Just as all is bliss, the family jewels disappear and so does Raghu.

Ramji Londonwaley: A cook from a small town in India arrives in London to find out that his boss is dead. He is saddled with immigration problems due to which he must marry Sameera.
English Vinglish: How can miss on those yummy looking ladoos made by Sridevi in the film.
Queen: The super hit film depicts about how the not-so-confident girl discovers her inner talent of cooking and the confidence to love herself for what she is.
Kuku Mathur ki Jhand Ho Gayi: This comedy film revolves around an aspiring chef named Kuku Mathur who can barely cook. However, he dreams to own a restaurant.
